I went to my first ever gem & mineral show today. It was called "Gemstreet USA" and was in one of the buildings at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Pretty cool, though there were more bead vendors than I expected, but there were at least a few vendors with cabochons (the reason I went!) I also found a guy selling display elements and
metalsmithing tools.
Here's what I scored:
Some trays (which will come in handy at the Covered Bridge Festival), steel block, 2 different sets of letter stamps and 3 cabs. All in all, a pretty successful trip!
Cabs I purchased from left to right: Picture Jasper, Tiger Iron, Picasso Stone
